About Us
Brentwood Interiors’ roots date back to 1952. It began when three businessmen partnered to operate a retail establishment known as Associated Salvage, located on Third Avenue South in the heart of downtown Nashville. Over the years, Third Avenue became known as the place to go for the best prices and selections on all kinds of home decorative items.
As business grew, in 1977, the same original owners began The Salvage Store next door to Associated Salvage to concentrate on the sale of fabrics and Oriental rugs for the home.
Continued growth led to an opportunity in 1997 for a second location in Brentwood. Brentwood Interiors began offering customers the same unbelievable pricing and selection on all types of fabrics, decorative items and oriental rugs, right in the heart of Brentwood, Tennessee. In 2004, The Salvage Store location on Third Avenue officially closed, and the two stores became one in order to offer an even greater selection of products and staff all in one location.
Both The Salvage Store and Brentwood Interiors have been featured multiple times in local television stories as well as in our local paper, The Tennessean, as the landmark place in Nashville to go for selection and great prices of home decorative items. We have been an annual Reader's Favorite Award winner in Greater Nashville House and Home magazine. We have also been nominated nationally as Oriental Rug Retailer of the Year.
Today, Brentwood Interiors, formerly known as The Salvage Store, continues to offer Nashvillians and all of Middle Tennessee the best selection of high-quality upholstering and drapery fabrics, Oriental and area rugs, as well as lamps, artwork and accessories, all at unbeatable prices, to make your home or office more enjoyable.
